The motor can be manufactured into two explosion-proof types: positive pressure housing type Expx and Expz. The Expx explosion-proof type can be used in Zone 1 and Zone 2, and the Expz explosion-proof type can be used in Zone 2. The two explosion-proof types are used in factories in explosive gas environments formed by gas, steam or mist-like explosive gas with ignition temperatures of groups T1, T2, T3, and T4 and air. The positive pressure housing type Expx can also be used on Class I equipment. This series of motors are made of carefully selected materials and are well made.
